Hello My Name Is...

Marielle Solis

Hey! My name is Marielle Solis. This is my 7th year teaching third grade at McConnell! Before that, I taught English for a year in Thailand! I graduated from Auburn University in 2012 with a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education.

Teaching, in general, is rewarding, but getting to teach 3rd grade is especially rewarding. 3rd grade is such a monumental year in a child's life. Students are at an age where they really begin loving to learn new skills and subjects and become eager to grow and learn.

I love teaching third grade, but in my free time, I love reading and hanging out with my dog, Eggroll!
