Hello My Name Is...
Kaitlin Christoper
My name is Kaitlin Christopher, and this is my first year at McConnell! I have six years of teaching experience, two in Hamilton County and four in Indiana. I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Education from Lee University in 2013.
Teaching second grade has always been my dream job, so I am beyond excited to start this position. This age group is special because of their kind hearts, inquisitive minds, and independence. My favorite part of teaching is watching my students grow throughout the year. Teaching is my passion. I love this incredibly challenging, yet rewarding job.
I grew up here in Chattanooga, graduating from Hixson High School in 2009. I met my husband, Eddie, at Lee University. We stayed in Chattanooga for two years after we graduated while he got his masters at UTC. We then spent the next four years in Indiana while he got his doctorate at Purdue University. We enjoyed our time in Indiana, but are excited to be back in the south with our families and mild winters!
