Hello My Name Is...

Ashley Smithey

My name is Ashley Smithey and this is my fifth year teaching at McConnell Elementary. I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Tennessee Technological University in 2015. 

I live with my husband, Blake, and we have a precious and perfect dog, Winston. We live in Soddy Daisy, where I grew up and went to school as a child.

I am so thankful to be a part of the McConnell family. I LOVE teaching 2nd grade and building lasting relationships with my students and families. Every child is special and important to me.
